I am a birding and wildlife safari guide, based in Nelspruit, South Africa. I am a partner in Lawson’s Birding and Wildlife Safaris, a well-established safari outfit with a footprint in both Southern and Eastern Africa.

I started my guiding career in the late 1990’s, with a job at a safari lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, one of the best places in the world to see big cats in the wild. I developed my love of the big predators there, which remains to this day, though that’s not to say I’m only interested in the big stuff! I’m a keen birdwatcher, and bird photographer, and have had the pleasure of showing off Africa’s birds and general wildlife to countless happy Lawson’s Safaris customers over the years.
